Our International Removals Process:
- tep 1 – Free home survey & Quotation A site visit to your home is arranged to assess the volume/Weight and discuss any special requirements with you. On completion of the assessment, we will prepare a quotation for your move and have this made available to you within 48 hours for approval.
- Step 2 – Export Packing & Handling One of the most critical aspects of an overseas move is the quality of the packing. We choose our packing crews and the quality of our materials with infinite care. All our export-packing crews undertake an intensive packing and handling training programme to ensure we maintain our excellent quality in packing and handling.
- Step 3 – Shipping & Storage When it comes to shipping your possessions overseas, you can feel confident knowing that they will be carefully containerized for export. All intercontinental destinations are serviced by 20 ft or 40 ft steel containers, either shared or exclusive. This will be determined after our free home survey and clearly stated in our quotation. We also offer sort and long-term containerized storage facilities within our warehouse where furniture and personal effects are kept in individual storage containers. It is the cleanest, simplest and most secure storage method available. These containers are transported to your home, loaded at your residence, sealed and delivered to our facility and stored until you require re-delivery or possibly forward shipping to your destination address.
- Step 4 – Delivery & Unpacking On arrival of your consignment at destination, our agent will make contact with you to arrange and perform that very important final stage of your move. They will arrange a convenient delivery date and time with you in advance after custom clearance at the port and on delivery they will unload, unpack and position all your furniture into all relevant rooms and remove all used packing materials and debris.
